Fed: Labor accsues govt of stuff-up over Brigitte warning

Labor has accused the federal government of covering up its failure to respond promptly
to French intelligence warnings that terror suspect WILLIE BRIGITTE posed a potential
danger to Australia.

Opposition homeland security spokesman ROBERT MCCLELLAND says Attorney-General PHILIP
RUDDOCK told parliament in November that information about BRIGITTE hadn't been received
until October the 7th.

But he says the was sent by the French on September the 19th.
